MODULAR SOLUTIONS:

Foldable balconies and terraces increase the available space on board and enhance the cruising experience. Therefore, we decided to develop various options with greater adaptability to better support designers and builders. We can provide just the system that allows the balcony to move, the system plus a structure to be covered and finished on site, or the complete solution. Depending on the size of the balconies, the weight to be supported, and the installation constraints, we can choose to use electric actuators, which are cleaner and less bulky, hydraulic actuators, or even rotary actuators.

POWER OPTIONS

ELECTRIC POWERED

Electric actuators allow to reduce weight, number of components, and to avoid the use of HPUs. These are usually installed at the sides and well hidden inside columns incorporated into the superstructure. The locking points are normally housed in this area too. Components can be reorganized according to architectural constraints. The logic is developed internally and adapted to the specific application.

HYDRAULIC POWERED

Hydraulics allow to move larger and heavier balconies with ease. The actuators are generally positioned vertically at the sides, or hidden horizontally under the deck if space is available there. With the same HPU, it is possible to control multiple systems simultaneously. Our mechatronics department therefore creates the control panel and logica according to specific applications.

ROTARY ACTUATORS

They allow to combine enormous power with a more compact system. The rotary actuators are incorporated into the rotating components, resulting in less impact on the surrounding structures. The actuators are hydraulically operated and is possible to move multiple systems with a single HPU. Everything is managed by the in-house management system and tailored for each specific application.
