From Bejoa II to Enejota: The Major Projects In Brazil
More than ten years have passed since our first major, entirely custom project in Brazil. Our collaboration with Brazilian shipyards began even earlier, with smaller supplies of accessories and portholes.
The first truly large-scale construction project, completed in collaboration with the Riostar shipyard, came in 2013. It all stemmed from a close collaboration and friendship with designer Fernando De Almeida, creator of the Riostar 130, who commissioned us to design and build all the exterior doors, both sliding and pantograph, as well as the technical hatches, portholes, and other custom deck accessories.
The 40-meter vessel was christened Bejoa II, and paved the way for collaboration with the Rio de Janeiro shipyard on the 81 and 83 series, with the supply of sliding doors of the main saloon and pantograph doors of the wheelhouse.
Collaborations began soon with the Intermarine Shipyard, Okean Yachts, and in particular Inace.
For Okean Yachts, in collaboration with Paolo Ferragni, we created the sliding doors for the Okean 80 series: a series that takes the “open-deck” concept to another level. This was also accompanied by the supply for the Okean 52 series, which embraces the same concept of large openings to the outside.
With Inace, and the birth of the Superyachts division, the fruitful collaboration with Fernando De Almeida continues. Actively participating in the design of the new lines, today our solutions, including external doors, hatches, portholes, and kinematics, are appreciated aboard the FHI 90 and Aventura 106 lines.
A custom Inace designed by Fernando De Almeida is currently under construction: a 46-meter superyacht, whose design is characterized by large doors and windows that open the interior to the exterior.
Collaboration with the Fortaleza shipyard on refits and conversions is also important, leading to Enejota, the latest launch from Inace, equipped with the main deck and upper deck sliding doors.
Other projects are underway with the aforementioned shipyards, along with other important names, including Proboat and the new 68 custom.
